HUD has released a Notice of Funding Availability for the new $100 million regional sustainability planning grant program. Applications are due August 23, 2010. The centerpiece of HUD’s Sustainable Communities Initiative, grants are available to develop regional sustainability plans, improve existing plans, and prepare more detailed “execution plans” to implement adopted regional sustainability plans.
