Planning, Zoning and Property Rights Conference – December 2008

Everyone in these economically challenging times is looking for value.  Check out a forthcoming two and a half day program offered by the Center for American and International Law (December 10-12 in Plano, Texas).  I usually don’t post conference information in this format, but this program is one not to be missed. Topics to be addressed include: case law update, first amendment issues in land use, zoning enforcement, green building, impact fees, eminent domain, and ethics. The course features more than two dozen seasoned experts from all areas of the law and planning practice. Based on past experience, the pace will be fast, although the content will start with the basics and move quickly to the cutting edge.  Opportunity to network and to engage the faculty is built in to the agenda. Registrants are encouraged to send questions in advance so the faculty will be fully prepared to make this program the best of the best. The ABA State and Local Government Law Section is a co-sponsor of the program.
